Discovered Device Properties / Inventory Evidence Tab

This tab displays the inventory evidence discovered by the discovery process for a discovered device. The details include hardware, software, file, and Oracle evidence.

The following discovered device properties are available (listed alphabetically) on this tab.

PropertyDescription
HardwareDisplays the hardware evidence and operating system evidence details collected from the discovered device. You can click a particular hardware to view its details. The number and type of properties vary with devices. The hardware details generally include the following: Manufacturer Name Description Device ID Expand the evidence listing and click the evidence to view its properties.
SoftwareDisplays the software evidence details collected from the discovered device including software name, version, and evidence type. Software evidence is used to determine what applications are installed on a discovered computer. This data can be used to calculate license compliance.
FileDisplays the file evidence details collected from the discovered device including file name, path, product name, product version, and publisher. File evidence is used to determine what applications are installed on a discovered computer. This data can be used to calculate license compliance.
OracleDisplays the oracle evidence details collected from the discovered device. This includes the name of the Oracle provider and component. Oracle evidence is used to determine what oracle applications are installed on the discovered computer. This data can be used to calculate license compliance.
